Get Up delivered boxes of brand new clothes along with other basic necessities to Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan in Ateneo for the people of Culion, Palawan. The donations which were added to the thousands of prepared relief packs are now en route to the Immaculate Concepcion Parish, the lone standing structure in the town. Additional funds will be turned over by Get Up on Monday to Fr. Jody Magtoto, Culion's parish priest, to buy much needed fuel for the town. Here were Fr. Pat and Bro. Jesse last night along with hundreds of volunteers who worked tirelessly to pack the thousands of relief goods. We are humbled to Get Up with them.
